Kara was working with clients selecting hardware for their new residence. The M/P window style is extremely narrow and the available style width was slightly larger than the standard escutcheon width of 1” and would require modification to the specifications. In addition, the clients requested concealed screws.
We developed a sub-rose mounting solution which would allow the narrow M/P window operator to conceal the M5 screws, while meeting the requirement of firmly attaching the sub-rose (with built-in detent) to the window sash. To accommodate the narrow escutcheon specification, we modified the width of the lever by milling detail from each side – thereby accomplishing the exact specification. We finished the project in Polished Nickel (PN).
