Kurt’s customer selected the Fifth Avenue Collection oval knob and escutcheon for their project. The customer desired a unique look and asked us if we would hand-hammered the oval center of the knob along with a slightly larger overall size escutcheon.
Given our flexibility and desire to meet customer’s requests, we elongated the standard escutcheon by one inch and the width by a half inch. We created a custom tool to enable our craftsman to hammer by hand the center of the knob. The oval knob and escutcheon look spectacular in Polished Nickel (PN).
