Satin Nickel - PVD
![]() |
Although Satin Nickel is known as one of the most durable of all finishes, this option provides the longest life solution for a nickel type finish. The parts are prepped by polishing the imperfections from the cast or turned surface, followed by a satin finish operation and plating with a dull chrome similar as used for US26D (Satin Chrome) which provides the corrosion resistance this finish is known for in the market. The parts are then processed through two cleaning cycles and racked in a PVD chamber where the nickel tone is applied to the surface coating. This process has been utilized in the market for over three decades for various applications such as machine tool coating, watch band finishes, and eye glasses. |
