This popular finish was developed as a result of demand from our key dealers for a variation of the popular Oil Rubbed Bronze finish. The finish was created originally by hand rubbing the oxidized solution through to expose the brass material. The key concept was to have the appearance of a part that was worn over time through use and the effect of the environment. The process requires a series of handcrafted steps to achieve the worn look we desire. The wax coating allows the parts to continue to age and naturally patina through use over time.
